In a league first, we are excited to launch a partnership between Aaron Bain Racing & Central District Football Club, bringing together the Bulldog community.

With a reciprocal agreement with ABR & CDFC, we will be offering CDFC Members, the opportunity to join in the exclusive ownership of a Harness Racing horse in South Australia, and begin developing what will be known around the grounds as the ABR Bulldog Barn.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

  • Exclusive Ownership of a Harness Racing Horse in South Australia to be trained by Aaron Bain

  • You will receive regular updates on the progress of your horse, provided personally by Aaron Bain.

  • The Central District Football Club owners and ownership groups will be acknowledged in the race book

  • You will receive owners’ privileges on race day

  • As an ABR owner you will be welcomed at our facilities to interact behind the scenes,  see your horse(s), watch track work, and get involved with our various social events throughout the year.

  • Invitation to ABR Ownership Events & exclusive ABR Bulldog Barn Events

  • All horses under the ABR Bulldog Barn to race in a specifically designed and approved set of colours, promoting the initiative of the ABR Bulldog Barn and the partnership between ABR & CDFC.

CDFC welcome anyone to join in on The ABR Bulldog Barn by paying a $90 Central District Football Club membership in addition to your share total. You will receive all benefits of a CDFC Membership

Terms & Conditions;

  • All administration, management and communications of the horse(s) purchased will be handled by Aaron Bain Racing Pty Ltd.
  • Any horse purchased for the ABR Bulldog Barn, will only be able to owned by a current financial CDFC Member.
  • If any, current ABR Owner, wishing to purchase a share in the said horse, will need to become an associated CDFC Member.
  • All horses under the ABR Bulldog Barn to race in a specifically designed and approved set of colours, promoting the initiative of the ABR Bulldog Barn and partnership between ABR & CDFC.
  • The purchase price of the said horse, will be an associated one-off upfront payment.
  • All-inclusive policy, will be embraced with shares available from 1% onwards, for the suitability of individual members or syndicates formed from within friendship groups.
  • ABR will assist with the paperwork, for any owner(s) wishing to create an associated syndicate with multiple people.
  • All horses purchased as part of the ABR Bulldog Barn, will be on a 50/50 Prizemoney Training Agreement, with no ongoing training fees, minimising any associated risks to the owners involved. 
  • (For example, if an owner/syndicate owns a 10% share, they will receive 5% of the prizemoney, but have no monthly training fees). 
  • A standard 6 months insurance cost, for the value of the horse is taken out at time of purchase and applied to the purchase price, to protect both Aaron Bain Racing & the incoming owners.
  • Shall there be any major costs, outside the control of Aaron Bain Racing in the best interest of the horses welfare, the ownership group of that said horse, will be informed and any cost implications communicated.
  • All prizemoney will be distributed individually to owners in the said horse, monthly with a statement issued for transparency of the earnings in the prior month.
  • Upon purchasing a share, any owner will sign a form with the above listed, requesting the relevant personal information including bank details to ensure prompt processing of any associated prizemoney.
  • Central District Football Club to honour the agreed Presidents Sponsorship Package, to include a Visual TV Screen inside the Tavern where the ABR Bulldog Barn will be promoted permanently.
